Description

Try for designing a baby dragon for Kumonryu3 kumonryu3.deviantart.com/
Name: Ka'Ardis
Personality: He is normally a curious, quiet creature,  but at times can get a little snappy, such as when he is hungry or has been awoken from a nap (who wouldn't be then though am I right?) Though he is young he already appears to be sharp witted with an eye for intricately designed objects.
History: Ka'Ardis hatched in a cave near the southern Himalayas. He was born when dragon hunting/ collecting was in it's prime, the smaller types and hatchlings being collected for pets or guard animals. He only had two or three months with his mother before she was taken from him. He didn't witness her die, as she had always hidden him well when she left to hunt but on one hunt she did not return. He was eventually forced to go out and look for her as hunger overcame him and he was found by a pack of hunting dogs and their master. The man took him home to raise in hopes that he could be used to find other dragons.
Breed Specifics:
This breed heavily resembles a leapord gecko though they stand a bit straiter.
Name: Pardis Draconis
Lifespan: 60-80 years
Average Adult Length: 10-13'
Average Adult Height at Shoulders: Around 10'
Young dragons have shorter wings and tails than that of their adult counterparts.
Markings: The markings can vary greatly between creatures, ranging from solid white to tan, vibrant orange or red markings, sometimes with vertical bands others with horizontal bands. Occasionally the bands appear more as spots along the animals body.
On the hatchlings the white markins can appear a bit pink as the skin is thinner and more delicate. Usually this fades as the skin thickens with age usually going from a sandpaper feel then beginning to look like crocodilian scales which stand out more with age.
Area Most Commonly Found: ____ prefer a warmer climate with a few moist and cool places to hide and lay their eggs. Often they are found near low mountain ranges with desert on one side and jungle on the other as this easily provides for all of their needs.
Diet: Pardis are omnivores, readily eating fruit as soon as meat depending on the situation. Dragons that spend more time in the forests will usually prefer fruit, while one that spend more time in the desert will usually go for meat.
